  1. in addition to many of the original vinyls up to Test for Echo, I would say my 2112 RUSH boxer shorts!
  2. To me, the second Toronto show was pivotal- I saw them in Bristow to end leg 1- and they were still "rehearsing." But that night in Canada-everything came together and from then on- the RUSH caravan thundered onward to LA. Chicago, Philly, LA stand out to my ears and eyes.
  3. RUSH's music to me, is perpetual and ageless because each time I listen- really listen- I hear new things. I never listened much to Jacob's. But when I heard it live- it came to life as if it was penned this year.
  4. Thanks, merci, gracias...! Because so many generous fans ran with the new technology and shared their concert experience, I was able to attend the opening and closing shows! In between I saw the premiere of Losing it- in Toronto. Thank you RUSH scopers for making history but mostly for your generosity!
  5. David Campbell - arranger and conductor of the Clockwork Angels String Ensemble was born in Toronto and lives in LA!
  6. Thank you Tom for sharing your scope. And thanks to all who have periscoped this tour. What a great gift you all have shared with us. From Tulsa to LA!
  7. Waht makes RUSH - RUSH is their lifelong committment to recreating the studio sound live. And that is so very difficult especially when three guys are replicating so many layers. When Ben Mink played "Losing It" in Toronto- it was perfection! In NJ, Dinklage paid homage to Mink. At Madison Square, Geddy seems to give Jonathan a nod and the green light to make it his own- and Jonathan soared. It's impressive to listen to the backing band lay down the rhythm. Jonathan takes them on a ride and the old veterans enjoy it!
  8. Last outdoor gig was at Bristow- end of leg 1- I saw it- It's works indoors and outdoors!
  9. All the 'signals' given out during the concert point to this as the end of RUSH the live band. You may want to yell f the puppet but listen to him - Puppet - Enjoy the Show RUSH - The show's over! Puppet - Bingo!
  10. from curtain up to curtain down- RUSH concerts are events
  11. David Campbell - arranger and conductor of the Clockwork Angels String Ensemble was born in Toronto and lives in LA!
  12. Puppet - "Enjoy the Show" RUSH - "the show's over." Puppet - "Bingo!"
  13. Puppet - "enjoy the show." Geddy - "the show's over." Puppet - "Bingo!"
  14. Of course they are- it's called aging!
  15. RUSH's catalogue is so large, their music is so multi-layered, complex, and nuanced that after 32 years of 'listening" - I'm still hearing things I never heard before. You've got lots of years of ear candy to enjoy- so get out there and rock!
  16. If Rush were a 4 man band, Alex would probably be better recognized. But as is, he is not only lead but rhythm. He's is a sound designer- a mood creator. What is does, no one else does.
  17. Saw them in Bristow on the first leg and they were still "rehearsing." Been scoping since and IMO the second Toronto show- was when they reached the peak- flawless in front of the camera and pretty much every concert since- Chi, Philly, Newark.... They are now what I call "zenning it." Joy, skill, perfection, magic. I've never seen anything like this- what a way to close out a career on the road!!!! No doubt the night at the LA Forum will be one for the gods!
  18. They will- I wonder who will do the solo?
  19. Saw them in Bristow to end leg ! Seems to ever since the pulled off a flawless performance on Toronto's second show- that they been on fire- they seems so relaxed and enjoying themselves and reaching that high bar every concert.
