I'm kidding. people here love their dream theater and hair metal, but no one's gonna give you shit for liking neurosis, melvins, saint vitus, electric wizard, similar artists. you'll probably get less responses than if you were discussing, for example, queensryche or something, but there are fans of rawer, sludgier shit around here. myself included Man , i love most of the heavy sludge. I think the Town Ballroom is a little too small for Slayer but Megadeth has played there a few times before, so maybe not? All I know is that the Ballroom has never gotten Slayer to play there. Hopefully, they finish is before they go out with Slayer. They put the new album on hold earlier this year to go on tour. Which is pretty cool since Nevermore is the greatest metal band no one has ever heard of and you don't hear Nevermore's influence on many bands and if you do the band doesn't do it as well as Nevermore.
