  1. 1. Which set do you prefer

    • Set A: Clockwork Angels, OLV, DEW, Red Barchetta
      30
    • Set B: The Wreckers, How it is, Between the Wheels, The Camera Eye
      42

Sometimes I think you are all crazy, It is setlist B if only for the reason that it has a never played before song on it.

I am not fanatical as most in here about whether a don't has been played live before. I base it on my like/love for the song and how it sounds in concert. So IMO if they were not going to play red b I wanted limelight. It's just a style preference nobody is crazy... Well at least as far as we know.

Neither. I prefer it to be random. Mt show isn't until June 27. If by then I still don't know exactly what I'm going to see, that was be so awesome. I think they should just shake it up each night, within the chronological structure they already have established.

I like CA the song way way better than The Wreckers but otherwise Set B is better so I chose that.

Oh and by the way did anybody ever think they'd get these songs in the same show ever?

Camera Eye

Jacob's Ladder

Hemispheres

Cygnus X-I

Anthem

Lakeside Park

What You're Doing

Xanadu

I mean holy shit guys this is still unbelievable!

Both are great.

My personal preference is for "A".

DEW > BTW

Red Barchetta > The Camera Eye

The VT songs are a push (how about Ceiling Unlimited?!?!).

The third show will be very interesting indeed, if they pull out a "C" setlist.

Bottom line: it's ALL good.

I think the setlist will be different in some manner on the entire tour.

Songs will come and go. Be rotated in and out. If you rotate 10 songs total in some manner or another, every show will be unique

Maybe get pulled out for 5 shows then come back for 2 , then gone again.

I would be tickled silly if Camera Eye and Between the Wheels came into setlist A.....I would be very very happy......I am still happy with what they have done this time with the setlist. Thank you Rush for thinking of us on your possible last big tour. We also like that we will get some alternating extra different songs rarely played on the next Bluray. This will keep us happy for the rest of our days when Rush has retired.....It's such a happy/sad experience right now for us die hards...

The bigger question is what happens night 3??????

Yeah That's the scary Scenario, Natural Science hasn't been played, its from PeW and its an Epic. Will Jacobs Ladder still be present? Who Knows? We'll find out tomorrow!

The Possibilities of a set "C" are mind boggling.

Set 1:

Caravan

The Anarchist

Headlong Flight

Far Cry

Mal-Nar

One Little Victory w/Solo

Cut to the Chase

Roll the Bones

Distant Early Warning

Subdivisions

Set 2"

Tom Sawyer

Red Barchetta

The Spirit of Radio

Natural Science (Yes! People Will Riot)

Hemisphere (Prelude)

Cygnus X-1

Drum solo

Cygnus X-2

Closer to the Heart

Xanadu

2112

Encore:

Lakeside Park

Anthem

What You're Doing

Working Man/ Garden Road

Honestly, If they take out Jacobs Ladder for Natural Science I feel most at that show would feel cheated. I think this is the one tour where they could drop TSOR as long as they replace it with Natural Science. Unfortunately, I pretty sure they will swap the Epic with the Epic.

Even though I acknowledge and applaud that RUSH are playing an unplayed song, its not like its Cut to the Chase, Open Secrets, Chain Lightning or Available Light or something else. Its How it is! Honestly I think their are better unplayed songs on VT that that. Vapor Trails, Sweet Miracle and even the remix of Ceiling Unlimited are all much better unplayed RUSH songs.
