They are one of my favorite trees.Me too. I have 3 red (two are laceleaf) and only the one green. They are quite expensive. What a beautiful color especially when they first bloom each year. I moved it once many years ago and it just keeps coming back beautiful every spring and summer. I often read how in LA most of the snow melt and rain fall (when it does rain) washes out to sea. Hope it rains in LA more. We had a great 80 degree day Saturday in NY, slept at the beach! People did not adjust their speed and there were several car accidents.. wind coming out of the NW and it's bone chilling cold.EFF off you lousy weather..
