I love Japanese maples. They are one of my favorite trees.

Me too. I have 3 red (two are laceleaf) and only the one green. They are quite expensive. What a beautiful color especially when they first bloom each year. Incredible burgundy color... Edited by Narpsberg

It's been springish around here, but it's supposed to cool down this upcoming week. Snow flurries are forecast for Thursday. I hope they are wrong.

Die winter, die!

My 15 year old weeping Japanese Laceleaf Maple. My baby. I moved it once many years ago and it just keeps coming back beautiful every spring and summer. My cats love to sleep under its natural canopy in the spring and summer...

I often wonder why we are not like Bermuda, capturing all the rain we can. I often read how in LA most of the snow melt and rain fall (when it does rain) washes out to sea. Hope it rains in LA more.

We had a great 80 degree day Saturday in NY, slept at the beach! Monday, back to the rain!!

It's 44° here and hailing.

Eeek! Hail is the worst. Haven't seen it here yet but the temperature is dropping like a rock.

It's only about the size of a bb but that's bad enough.

Snowflakes are coming down as I speak. It's 32F (0 C) and the wind is coming out of the Northwest. Ya, baby!

Damn... :(

Woke up to white grass from overnight snow showers. Temperature had dropped to under freezing and roads were icy this morning. People did not adjust their speed and there were several car accidents.. wind coming out of the NW and it's bone chilling cold.

EFF off you lousy weather..
