We can practice Circumxanadsion on it!I have noticed that anytime anyone mentions having a party, we go through the same routine - sporks, corndogs, and Segue and his infamous cupcakes. I could give an interminably long and philosophical answer to these questions. Incredibly, interminably long. And I know you're asking seriously. In short, some of it is counting, but all of the fills (all of the flourishes that are outside the basic rhythms) are all things that he 'writes', or composes, more or less on the spot in rehearsals, and then they are refined and either kept, embellished or discarded over time. As for how he knows when to hit the drums- that is a matter of feel, and it becomes instinctual- as it is for most any professional or at least experienced musician. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
