I started my Bowie marathon and listened to "I Dig Everything: The Pye Singles" from 1966.

Just a fun record with great ("60s Mod") songs - very early Bowie".

I love that Pye singles disc. I listened to it on the day his death was reported. I'm not Losing Sleep, And I Say To Myself & Can't Help Thinking About Me are great 60s pop.

So, I've just reached my favourite Bowie record in my David Bowie marathon 'Hours...".

I'm listening to it for the second time in a row just now...it is just brilliant.

It is criminally overlooked...great band, music, lyrics and production.

I can't recommend this one enough.

I've always really liked that one as well.

I still haven't heard all of Blackstar, so I can't include it in the verdict I'm about to give...but leaving that aside, I'd say that Hours is his best album since the 1980s.
