I'll put in it pictures so it's easy to understand :)

AFTK-Hemi-PeW-MP... Doesn't get any better than that.

I must Agree with Lens here, even though Adding Signals to the end and dropping AFTK also works for me.

By The way this thread should have been a poll!

Ok...New and Improved! My former list was p/g-Presto.

NOW:

AFTK

Hemispheres

Permanent Waves

Moving Pictures

(Although I prefer to listen to 2112, Hemispheres has the best second side to any Rush album, and a pretty nifty first side. Also, I prefer MP immensely to 2112. The reason for my new list is that in all honesty, AFTK, PeW and MP are three of the best albums I have ever heard, and Hemispheres itself is great, if rarely on my play list!)

Hmm... Would this be a double-360-half-Segue for Hemispheres?

SINCE WHEN IS NOT LIKING A RUSH ALBUM AS MUCH AS OTHER RUSH ALBUMS EQUAL TO NOT LIKING IT AT ALL?!

I have always liked the album, including side a, but not anywhere near as much as other fans!

Plus, AFTK, PeW and MP would be enough to make this the best four album streak, even if you were to trade Hems with Roll The Bones!

1) Pissto

2) Pull the Boners

3) C*nterfarts

4) Incest Whore Gecko

Those are the best four Rush albums to give you the runs.

True

Disagree on Pissto but the others I can agree with..... :)

A Farewell To Kings

Three album run would be Hems-MP.

A Farewell to Kings through Moving Pictures. Perfection bookended by ripping off Neal Schon!

Good memory....

This thread reminds me of Rush's four studio albums followed by one live album pattern that was dropped in the 2000s when they went live album crazy.

Rush through 2112 - All the World's a Stage

A Farewell to Kings through Moving Pictures - Exit...Stage Left

Signals through Hold Your Fire - A Show of Hands

Presto through Test for Echo - Different Stages

Now that's an impressive run of albums.

Anything between CoS and MP is the correct answer (an argument can be made to take it to Signals).

I would have to go with AFTK, Hemispheres, PeW, MP. What a freaking run. Actually if you think about CoS through Signals... are you f***ing kidding me with that 7 album run? That is unreal.

:goodone: :ebert:
