Piggybacking off of the other thread.

I voted for Natural Science. One of their finest tracks ever written.

Honorable mentions: Something For Nothing, Everyday Glory, Between The Wheels, Countdown, La Villa, The Garden

No thinking for this one needed:

Available Light, with Countdown and Everyday Glory second and third respectively.

The Fountain of Lamneth, I love the final lyrics. Honorable mentions to Mystic Rhythms, Natural Science, and La Villa

How about a favorite middle track? Just when you think the album is stinko.....

So a poll with 145 options?

Anyway: NatSci wins, with honorable mention to FoL, SFN, Cyg, LVS, BTW, and Available Light.

No. You simply pick the middle track. They don't have 145 albums.

How does someone choose between In The End, The Fountain of Lamneth, Cygnus, La Villa, Natural Science and Mystic Rhythms?

Well, they pick Available Light instead...

Ah. So:

Here Again/What You're Doing

By-Tor/Rivendell

Lakeside Park

The Twilight Zone/Lessons

Closer To The Heart/Cinderella Man

Circumstances/The Trees

Jacob's Ladder/Entre Nous

Limelight

Digital Man/The Weapon

The Enemy Within/The Body Electric

Marathon/Territories

Prime Mover/Lock and Key

Presto

Where's My Thing?/The Big Wheel

Alien Shore

Totem

Vapor Trail

The Way The Wind Blows

Halo Effect/Seven Cities of Gold

So then a much more manageable 31 songs (not 19 because many albums have an even number of songs), huh?

And in my opinion yours sucks.

For me, this is much easier. There are some very good songs here, but a lot of issues...really everything from MP on is not in contention, though the Garden is nice. For me it gets down to either Fountain of Lamneth or La Villa Stangiato. LVS is a better song with better playing, but I like the story, lyrics, moods and feel of FoL just a bit more, for whatever reason.

That is fascinating. I'd probably go with Lakeside park, but The Enemy Within/The Body Electric and Presto are extremely close for me. It is so fascinating to me as those songs come off of albums I rate very lowly, but these 3 groups are actually fairly easy choices for me above the rest.

Yes, the way you have it set up is good.

I would have five favorites here. Six if live versions count...

Oh god that's a definitive battle of Limelight vs. The Enemy Within/The Body Electric vs. Prime Mover/Lock And Key.

GGWP not even trying to pick one
