Zumbi, is it true that you really hate the song?

There are setlists and substitutions for every tour posted at http://www.2112.net/powerwindows/tours/Tours.htm

I'm not going to swear that they played TS at EVERY show because there is a chance there was a technical glitch at some point and they dropped it somewhere... but yes, it has been in the setlist for every tour and was played at the Molson Blind Date and SARStock as well as the RnRHoF induction

On the thread you "woke up" about the most hated Rush song, that's what he wrote - Tom Sawyer and Cygnus - but I didn't know if he was teasing or not.

Nah, I dont really hate it, I am just really really really tired of it, since its been overplayed. But I cant say that its a bad song.

I gotcha! But it was overplayed for a good reason, right?

I love Tom Sawyer. I love watching Neil beat those drums, Geddy's hand slide up and down that bass neck, and the same chords that Alex plays over and over in it. (An non-professional description.)

That wasn't technically the Permanent Waves tour.

It was...

The Trees

Beneath, Between and Behind

Tom Sawyer (early version, different second verse)

Jacob's Ladder

A Passage to Bangkok

Working Man (reggae intro)

Finding My Way

Bastille Day

In The Mood

Drum Solo

Encore: La Villa Strangiato

Yeah, as far as I can tell, its the only song that they have played at every show since its release (and the warm up tour before it)

Intro line is flipped...keys are extra-terrestrial. :D ..Alex's solo is pure shredding :notworthy: ...the epic tom runs are missing :tsk: ...changed bridge lyrics...and they don't seem able to decide upon a tempo. :eh:

Good Point Cygnus 2112. I forgot Far Cry (and not to mention the CA songs) due to them being relatively new. So Tom Sawyer is the only song that has been played every night since it's inception* (*Montreal 2013)

I didn't include the Clockwork Angels songs because they have only been on one tour.
