I personally slipped a whoopee cushion under my cousin's pillow last night, have been wearing a fake moustache and a kick me sign on my back (to look foolish), and have been walking around with shock gum for people. I check them, some I never visit anymore anyhow, and just look for bogus notification, news, formats, etc. "The future today!", April Fools being completely virtual. Around 11 am I texted my husband that I was coming home because I'd been fired. The "April Fools'!" follow up didn't go over well at all, and in retrospect I can see that it was really mean.
