I can't believe this reality.

I was planning on hitting four shows this summer to get to 60.

Now I have nothingness.

Perhaps Colorado August 2.

I'm totally bummed out!

Life goes on.....................................

Yeah, if this is the final list then I won't be seeing Rush this summer. Maybe I'm too greedy having seen them twice this tour already. :eyeroll:

Damn my friend! Three times in November wasn't enough for me!

The last two times Wendy and I travelled to Red Rocks for Rush the Rockies were out of town.

Well I just checked and Rush is at the Pepsi Center on August 2. The Rockies play three at home against the Dodgers! I'm going to book it!

I love going to a baseball game in some other state while traveling for Rush!

My best was going to Toronto for an R30 gig and seeing a Blue Jays Red Sox game the night after!

Do the Avalanche play at the Pepsi Center?

Denver?

Well I've been meaning to take a trip up through Oregon to see a few relatives so I could see them in Portland. I'm not sure yet though money might be a little funny to pull it off.

I'm seriously bummed about no Red Rocks.

That was the cornerstone of my summer.. and now I have to figure something else out.

Maybe I'll do Portland.. never been to that venue *shrugs*

Coors Field is right down the street from the Pepsi Center in downtown Denver, otherwise known as LoDo. Book a room downtown and you can walk easily to both places with tons of brewpub/dining options as well. The Av's do play at the Pepsi Center but hockey is long gone by that time of year. Enjoy!

I love staying in Denver when I travel for Rush at Red Rocks!!

It sounds like a blast for sure! Rush and two Rockies games against the hated Dodgers!! SWEET!

I might have to join you for the Portland gig.

Both of my daughters are playing in huge soccer tournaments that weekend. UGH! Might have to go solo!

Rush should be in Pittsburgh the weekend that the Rockies are in Pittsburgh!

Definately disappointing its not at Red Rocks. I hope I can get tickets somewhere close to the stage or I am not going to waste my money sitting in the nosebleeds for the horrible sound there at Pepsi Center.

Yeah, it's a little weird playing an indoor venue in August, especially since the outdoor one is so iconic. Is it because of the strings?

I've actually never seen Rush indoors.

Don't know why not Red Rocks. Certainly not because the strings need an indoor arena, as several shows from the 1st leg were outdoors (like the Jiffy Lube Live show in DC I attended). Maybe with weed now legal in Colorado, the band thinks they might be able to get a better contact buzz indoors.

Not sure what I'm going to do. I was really looking forward to a local show we could drive to. Our daughter starts college in the fall and we could use every penny.

Damn!

:boohoo:

Feeling your pain here too. Thought we might have 2 shows to choose from in NorCal ...and the whole state gets snubbed! WTF!!!

With limited notice to line up logistics for transportation and tickets...looks like I'm skipping this leg. :(

Looks like we're just gonna have to wait until next tour. I would totally got to Portland, Salt Lake City, or Denver to see them but I just can't get out of my plans that over lap the tour dates.

Brit Floyd (Whoever that is) is playing RR on the 2nd.

They are a Pink Floyd tribute band, with visuals and what not officially licensed from Pink Floyd.

I was kind of hoping for Reno. Not even that.

I was looking at Portland, but it is a shed, actually 20 miles outside of Portland, with no hotels within walking distance.

I may end up going to Denver, but I'm not sure at this point.

You guys have had them EVERY leg in California. Denver missed 2011 entirely and the first part of this tour in 2012. They are simply hitting those states that they missed the first go round I think. FYI acoustics in the Denver venue kinda suck :(

Don't waste your $$$ Earl. The sound at the Pepsi center sucks. I cannot believe they chose it over Red Rocks!!!

UGH!!! I hear ya Cindy!! We Californians are spoiled!! I can't remember the last time Rush skipped California!!!

Thanks for the warning about the shitty sound. I can't believe they aren't doing Red Rocks either. Damn.

I still might book the trip with the wife. We would stay in Denver for three nights. Catching Rush and two Rockies games would be worth it.

I also want to back to Boulder. Perhaps take a drive up to Estee Park.

Isn't there a hotel up there where Stephen King wrote "The Shining?"

Reno would have been rad! I saw them there on the S&A Tour! Nick's dad works a blackjack table up there.

By fate, chance or destiny Wendy and I just went in the little casino to gamble and the security guy saw my Rush shirt.

He told me that Nick's dad (not going to type his last name) was over at one of the Blackjack tables.

Sure enough Wendy and I went up to him and we talked for an hour! He taught me how to play Blackjack while we talked about his son and the music industry!

He was going to give us his two all access passes to the show but his name was typed on them! Damn!

Anyway it was a nice thing to offer.

After the Rush concert Wendy and went back over to the casino. I bough him a tour book. He was very flattered.

He took a coffee break and we talked some more. He was so proud of his son! Nick's dad is a good man!
