Some good news for us now though, the pathetic 0-7 Bucs are crushing the "mighty" Seahawks 21-0! :madra:

Still 20 minutes to go and the score is 24-14. Schiano will get conservative and blow this one...

Saints place Jonathan Vilma on injured reserve

New Orleans Saints outside linebacker Jonathan Vilma (51) reacts during a NFL training camp in Metairie

If you blinked, you might have missed Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma’s entire 2013 season.

Vilma was activated from injured reserve on Sunday in time to play against the Jets, which Vilma did, but his stay on the active roster wasn’t particularly long. Multiple Saints beat writers report that the team has placed Vilma on injured reserve, ending his season after just one game and one tackle.

There’s no word of a new injury or a setback to the existing knee troubles that caused Vilma to spend the first half of the season on IR/return, but neither option holds much promise for Vilma’s future. He took a big pay cut to remain with the Saints this season and it has been years since Vilma has been able to remain a healthy and productive player for an entire season.

Vilma’s absence won’t change much for the Saints defense since he wasn’t a member of it for much of the season. They still need to get better at stopping the run and today’s move just means Vilma won’t be part of any solution.

With a bit of luck Rodgers will be back in a month and the Packers' schedule is pretty easy during this stretch, only the Lions are any good out of the teams they face.

Lions at home, short rest on Thanksgiving... I'm not liking Wallace's chances in this one.

He was so bad in one preseason game for the Saints we cut him the next day.

Every team is going to dare him to throw. We should go get Flynn, at least he knows the system a little bit :)

He's still out there isn't he? But maybe your guy McCarthy has been on the blower to Pete Carroll, Doug Marrone and Dennis Allen and found out how far he's slipped since his Packers day.

Ed Werder is reporting that the Packers are bringing in Flynn tomorrow.

It's either true or all that exhaust from Favre's truck has gotten to him...not sure which.

Maybe Favre is the one coming back to the Pack!
