I got up this morning to go to the gym, expecting an inch or two of snow on the ground. When I looked out the window I saw about 1 foot had fallen since last night. And, as I'm typing this, it is still coming down quite hard. I quickly cleared my driveway to get in for a 10:00 meeting. When I got in to the office, I learned the other attendee had cancelled because of the snow.

When I walk back to the train station later today, the first clown I see driving a Prius with some type of global warming bumper sticker on it is getting a rock through their rear window.

Just remember, the warmer it gets, the more it snows.

In my neck of the woods, the colder the better. When we have single digits or below zero, it almost never snows. In the teens and 20's, we get buried.... :rage:

I'll take 5 degrees and sunny anyday..... :sundog:

Snow shoveling. Because there's no better cardio than working yourself into an infarction.

Yes, quite a miss by all predictions. Did we say 4"? I'm sorry we meant 20" (the official measurement here in Norwood). It was very wet and heavy, too. Anyone who is shoveling, please be careful and take your time. A very busy day yesterday. I hope you (and everyone else here in eastern MA) were safe and warm yesterday, Rick :hi: . I feel very bad for the folks on Plum Island whose houses fell into the ocean yesterday. :(

I was a remarkable storm, though, with a 600 mile reach. :eh:

I just realized that Khan was just that one storm (I moved here from Canada and they think I'm slow, eh?), silly Weather Channel, but I much prefer lumping them all into one big name. I call it winter and snow - ok, well I guess that's two names. Easier and more fun to reference ...

Khaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!

:)
