Thanks to last night's incredible homage to one of the greatest bands in the world I figured it would be cool to ask you guys a simple question. Or is it?

What is your all time favorite album by Led Zeppelin? What is their greatest album to you?

Perhaps this isn't a simple question.

I apologize if we have already done a poll on this very subject.

Somethings need to be repeated!

ZEP ON!

The greatest is probably IV, but my personal favourite is Led Zep II...

They're all great though really. The only one out of the 8 proper Zep studio albums I don't like is In Through the Out Door. I never liked that and even though I keep coming back to it and trying it again, I never like it.

Your topics rule! :NP:

1. Physical Graffiti

2. Houses of the Holy

3. Presence

* I can't think of anyone more deserving to perform the Stairway tribute. No pressure! :guitar:

Thank you my brother! I still try to be creative! It's tough to still keep it fresh on here. "Houses Of The Poll-y" was a last minute pun.

I'm such a dork! It's nice to have a forum where I can let it all hang out!

Cheers my friend!

HAPPY NEW BEER!!!

I still can't decide!!

Probably PG!

Signed,

"Hot Dog" Pat! I totally agree! I can't stand "In Through The Outdoor" although I do love the sound of Bonham's drums!

I think "CODA" is better!!!

"Walter's Walk!"

"Darlene!"

Again, when I fell in love with Zeppelin it was like in 1980 something. When "Coda" came out I thought it was a new record!

I played that sucker over and over and over again.

As a drummer I loved that Bonzo solo song!!!

I was just a kid! F IT!

I love Zep even if they are overplayed!!!!!!!!

Life is short.

ZEPPELIN RULES!

I talked to my 75 year old father today about Zep.

He regrets not seeing the band back in the day.

My dad wasn't into the hard rock metal bands back then but now he is thanks to me!!

I've taken my dad to see Van Halen three times (twice with David), Rush three times, KISS and Ted Nugent once, Sammy Hagar and Montrose, Doobie Brothers, Asia and Styx!

When I am my father's age I will still be listening to all of these bands!

Cheers!!

Hope Zeppelin tours without Plant!!

Robert can just kick back in his England Mansion and collect royalty cheques!

I remember my pal Johny was the biggest Zep fan out of our crowd and I remember him buying Coda and making a big deal about it. it's just an odds and ends album really not meant to be a real album. Still the cover art is cool! :D-13:

Edit: this was like 1980 or so, whenever it came out

Yes Pat!!

It's just and Odds And Ends album! ODDS AND SODS? LOL!

I was so young when "Coda" came out! I thought it was a new Zeppelin album in my nimble mind.

I fell in love with it!

I'm 44 now and I can't wait to blast "Coda" tomorrow night!

Cheers!

Finally watching "Celebration Day" Pat! IT'S AMAZING!

I have to go with II. I'll put that album, start to finish, against any other album released by anyone.

After that I'd go with s/t, HOTH, III, IV, Graffiti, ITTOD and Presence.

As an aside, if Physical Graffiti were boiled down to a single album, it would rank up there with their best work. As it is, too much "so so" stuff for me.

IV deserves to be placed higher, but personally I (like a lot of people I'm sure) am a little tired of it.

I could've chosen any of the first six depending on my mood, just lately I haven't listened to much of anything heavy at all so HOTH is my choice

very mature, very diverse, it's like they're really trying to be taken seriously as artists

Interesting Rick.

Would you say the same thing about "Use Your Illusion One And Two by GNR?

If Axl and the boys cut the filler out of that double album would be better than Appetite?

I love PG as a whole!
