dtpoet Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 (edited) A couple of people guessed Territories in the "prediction" thread. BrightAntenne had Territories on one list but not YYZ - so I still go t a shot. LOL Edited September 7, 2012 by dtpoet
default236 Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 QUOTE (Sir Lerxst @ Sep 7 2012, 03:38 PM) So Big Al has 6 guitar amps (Im presuming 3 + 3spare), as well as two instances of Guitar Rig. Mesa Boogie, Hughes and Kettner and "Lerxst Omega" Amplifiers.... Hmmm And the Telecaster can only mean Bravado, OLV, or Vital Signs.
AFarewellToHemispheres Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 I hope the setlist isn't swamped with their 80's synth stuff as apart from Subdivisions and Marathon, I'm not too fond of anything from Signals to Power Windows. Also, hi, I'm, new here!

losingit2k Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 QUOTE (hermy @ Sep 7 2012, 04:39 PM) It appears sound check is over. YYZ with strings Territories Subdivisions Rush usually ends with the opener so we'll see Cool I'm loving this already! Thanks Hermy have a great show!

No acoustics seems unlikely. Also playing 'The Wreckers' would require a double neck (or one guitar on a stand), for Nashville and Standard tuning. If this were to be a double neck it is unlikely it would be the white double neck previously used for Xanadu as this guitar has a 12 string neck, not the nashville tuned neck that is required. Edit : There are several things missing from the list that I would expect he will have. Steampunk cabinets were listed on the Time Machine equipment list - this list has no cabs at all. Not to mention none of his signature H&K amps, only a Coreblade. Maybe those "Lerxst Omega" amps are a new version of his signature amps. And sadly, I see no PRS guitars on the list. jaski Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 "TERRITORIERS"? Wow!!! Didint predict it but it was my wish song along with "Prime mover" Yeah! Yeaaaaaahhh!!!
hermy Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 The swag truck left an orange cone in the side door so sound check was easy to hear.
Sir Lerxst Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 I believe that most of it is Nashville, except the bridge ("The breakers roar....").

Hermy, how did YYZ sound with Strings? Did they play the usual keyboard string part or was it an all new composition?
