I've taken a long time off from Rush music.

Prepping myself for the new album.

 

I won't listen to another Rush song until I hear the new album.

 

It's how I roll. I want a fresh mind with perky ears for this release.

I bought the UK pre-order cause im a junkie for "in depth" studio interviews tongue.gif but i don't care if it comes late, there'll probably be a 5.1 package that i can pick up as well... at least i hope!!! I want the first time i hear this album to be the best possible way to hear it, and as soon as possible. i listened to the 30 second clip, but im gonna try really really hard and avoid listening to all of Headlong Flight. its gonna be damn near impossible. unsure.gif

At the end of this article it says that if you order the fan pack you will get it a month before the official release date. If true then that means those of us in North America will get it about two weeks before the official date because of shipping time.

The article also mentions that the mp3 of Headlong Flight is available to buy on the 20th of this month at Amazon, but you won't actually be able to download it until the 24th. Our British cousins get it a couple of days earlier. I'm sure none of you will rub it in, right?

Well, like I said in the other thread you posted this in... take what you read on examiner.com with a large grain of salt. There is no editorial oversight, no fact checking, and the unpaid writers are pretty much free to make stuff up. Unless they're linking to a trusted third party, take it with a grain of salt.
