Definitely my new favorite song on the disc!

Alex's solo, the lyrics and the passion in Geddy's voice, that quick shot of my future wife during Alex's solo.. Absolutely beautiful from begining to end!

Awesome! I was really glad they finally played this live and it was so good.
Has anyone heard an unedited version to know what Geddy's goof up was?

I don't know, but I believe he called it an 'unscheduled brain fart'...

It's in my top 3 songs they've ever done, but the way Alex changed up the acoustic guitar intro is jarring, unnecessary and it pulls me right out of the song. I've listened that song hundreds, maybe thousands of times in the past 20 years, and while I don't mind change per se, that particular little change at the beginning really bothers me.

Geddy's voice on the TM version is also a deal breaker for me. I saw them twice on this tour and each time, he didn't sound nearly as off as he does on TM.

Geddy getting older: fine. Geddy getting older, singing while sick (or getting over being sick): not fine. Not fine at all.

I didn't really know this song before i went to see them, and unfortunately where i was sitting at the Vancouver show didn't help. (directly opposite of the stage) however, after watching the DVD several times, and re-listening to the album, absolutely love it know. its one of my favourites.

I like the songs as well....But that waving my magic crap is just so corny...I've never gotten used to it....That was the first 2.gif song that I just sorta said...."are you f'n kiddin' me"?

My first time was the rap on Roll the Bones....

As for Presto, great song. Even better live.

I've always loved Presto. Love Alex's extended guitar and the way Geddy sings "If I could a-wave my magic a-wand" toward the end in the live version. Geddy also does a finger twirl (and in Cleveland, pretends to shoot himself in embarrassment) at the end that I think is neat.

This was the first song at my first show where I realized being a Rush fan had become a huge priority going forward yes.gif
