My favorite one was taken down recently for some reason (it was the Allentown, PA performance from last year). But this one is great, too: http://youtu.be/1uReSZ0Ie2g

Correction-

It's a video taken from the front row of a NY show in 2010. It has an amazing view of Alex's playing during the entire solo, and it's one Alex's better performances too!!

I love this one for the quality of the playing. It was during a sound check or whatever, but still live.

I'm not sure if I'd ever seen that one before but it was awesome!!! Kind of epitomises prog pomp during the 70's. I can see why critics can't stand it.

BTW I love '80 St Louis and Still No Guitar too but my fave is Exit...Stage Left.

Yeah, that's pretty cool too. As is ESL.

I think Pink Pop is still my fave: something about Lerxst

in his mid to late twenties; the intro with the finger wound

(the already developed rapport on & off the stage); and it's

such a great live version.

At the risk of kicking a bee's hive beathorse.gif

I cannot stomach audience viddies: the quality is never worth

having shot them 062802puke_prv.gif , and I've too often been at a concert

surrounded by little glowing devices and the elbows that crane

them about

(somehow not the same as the cig-lighter effect). cool10.gif

There will never be another song by Rush like La Villa. And this really bums me out. It is a masterpiece, IMO. Jazzy/Bluesy/Proggy/Rocking...simply awesome.

Why is everything else from ESL on youtube except that tune?

Because it wasn't a part of the ESL video.....dvd.

But usually someone will put the audio up and just show a picture of the album cover or something.

When I's a young'un, we use t' roll our weed on the album cover whilst listening to the music. What's video?
