invisible airwave
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c3/Inglourious_Basterds_poster.jpg My favourite Tarantino film! I recommend as a compliment (if you haven't seen it already) the classy but fun Black Book from Paul Verhoeven. Two different style films, both equally riveting! He said in a recent interview that he'll retire after his 10th film so he'll have two more after next year's Hateful Eight. Those short film and guest segments like Four Rooms and Sin City don't count. Kill Bill is my favorite of his so far.
Segue Myles
http://www.filmsy.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Flowers-Of-War-poster.jpg I held of watching this film due to the lukewarm reception and the fact that Chritian Bale is not really an actor i generally admire, but this is a stunning film, devastating in places (especially a shocking scene dealing with the sexual offences often commited in wartime, but i will say no more). And Bales role is quite cliched, but brilliantly performed. I rarely cry at movies. This is an exception. 9/

So delicately produced, and very emotional. If this was an American production it would be hailed a masterpiece. But it is a Chinese production, the most expensive one ever (around 95 million dollar), with a cast from three nations, stunning photography and very, very beautiful chinese actresses. All those who enjoy war movies should hunt this one down.

The film should have been called something else, I don't recognize the two as being related at all.
