Tombstone Mountain
http://i.imgur.com/MLalL38.jpg A modern classic, love that film.Aye and it never gets old...Are you on a Carpenter kick? He created such classic films with light budgets. Also a fantastic composer. What a run in the late 70's early 80's. I have the director's commentary on my dvds. He and Kurt are a riot. Russell isn't given the respect anymore, perhaps tied to his conservative political views. Sad because he's a tremendous actor.

treeduck
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/1d/Westworld_ver2.jpg After Westworld I started watching the sequel Futureworld, but it was so boring and lifeless I had to turn it off after half an hour. To borrow a line from the film it was about as exciting as a trip to a waterworks...
H. P. L.
http://www.impawards.com/1967/posters/two_for_the_road.jpg Not quite what I was expecting, but surprisingly good in many ways and disappointing in many others. I sure didn't expect the movie to bounce continuosly through time back and forth, it was an incredibily modern storytelling technique. Hepburn is Hepburn, while I'm not sold on Finney, I can think of many who would have made a better job. Still, worth my (and my wife's) time. For instance in the first film Mother and all the screens and panels still look very high tech.

I've always thought it was much more scary to not see the alien except for the tiny glimpses we get until the end.
