Back-to-back President's Trophies. I didn't think they'd do it this year. Incredible.

NHL.com calls it "Second Term." laugh.gif

CANUCKS WIN! LOUNGO GETS THE SHUTOUT!

Only one thing better than this....

Nothing would please me more than seeing the Canucks beat the Rangers in game 7 of the finals -- AT Vancouver because they got the President's Trophy instead of the Rangers. biggrin.gif

Habs 4 Leafs 1 final score.

Kessel, Bozak, Grabovski, Phaneuf, Gardiner. Outside of those five, I couldn't care less if the rest of this team never played a game in a Leafs jersey again.

So much for the 'genius' of Brian Burke building a winning team...

I know. I'm happy they got it instead of the Rangers too.

And that's IF the Rangers make it that far. Getting out of the East will not be easy for any of those teams.

Oh boy...4-2 Ducks, Schneider going in.

Not fun seeing Gragnani directly responsible for two goals against on the same night as Sulzer's best game of his career eh.gif

Good for Corey. His alma mater faces off against Minnesota tonight in the Frozen Four semifinals.

Go BC! cheer.gif

Sorry for the interruption of NHL talk again. wink.gif

sad.gif Today is Wednesday. I'm so sad. I spent all day thinking it was Thursday.

Daffy Duck, playing Robin Hood: "Now, then. Yoikes, and away."

Go BC! cheer.gif

Alrighty then. Let's turn our eyes back to the NHL. common001.gif

Wait a minute. Baseball season already started? Did someone tell the Sox pitching staff that? laugh.gif

throwing my picks out there:

Vancouver in 6
St. Louis in 5
Chicago in 6
Nashville in 7

New York in 6
Washington in 7
New Jersey in 5
Pittsburgh in 6

I'm thinking more or less the same...personally I'd take Boston over Washington, and I think San Jose will put up more of a fight, but other than that, yeah.

I'll toss out some predictions too just for the heck of it. Note that betting men are usually wise to bet against the teams I pick.

Canucks in 6

Sharks in 7

Blackhawks in 6

Predators in 7

Rangers in 5

Bruins in 4

Devils in 6

Flyers in 6

Wishful thinking. Bruins in 5.

Yeah probably, I definitely wouldn't put money on it
