mulletst0rm Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 Anthem for sure. Showed exactly the direction Neil would take Rush. One hell of a debut track.
ChroniclesOfRush Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Making Memories. I love to play every song on that album as well - By-Tor being one of my all time favs. But when it comes right down to it dusting off the 12 string and grabbing the slide is something I really love to do. Making Memories is also another one of those forgotten gems most fans would have to dig deep into the memory vault to remember. But the looks on their collective faces is worth all the "tea" in Bangkok.
dom_2112 Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 By Tor or Anthem... erm..... i'll give it the Snow Dog!
alanight Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 With Xanadu, Anthem is my favourite Rush song. This is my favourite album too, I like all the tracks really.
hogwash Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I voted for By-Tor, although Anthem is in close second. In the End is pretty good as well.
Steevo Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 1. By-Tor 2. Anthem (close) 3. Beneath, Between & Behind (close)
EmotionDetector Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 BY-TOR & THE SNOWDOG But ANTHEM runs a very respectable second!
greg2112 Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 One the toughest albums to pick a favorite from, but Anthem has it all.
The Analog dude Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Anthem is absoulutly stunning. I don't know, theres just something about that song that makes me feel right, you know. I don't get that with some of the other songs on the album, but I definatly think that the album is amazing in every way. Anthem is by-far the best track of this album, and a damn awesome concert opener.
to stop awhile with you Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Fly by night was the best "popular" track, but bytor and the lerxtdog is by far the best.......
Zanadoo Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 love love love in the end and i was never a fan of bytor...don't know why
GeddyLeeFender Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 "In the end" is one of the songs i remember not ever listening to and one day i did and fell in love, by far in my opinion the best song on the album and one of my favorites from the band as well.
