A truly amazing album. Rush show proven ability to keep with the time. I went for Subdivissions, the drums are fantastic on this. best base riff is New World Man and best Violin Solo, Loosing It

Tom Sawyer is the essisence of this album. YyZ is a close second. Vital Signs is one of those songs that i know the air drums, beat for beat. Oh stuff it, can't decide.

These polls are getting hard now. Getting to the bad boy albums now. I've give it to Free Will. The first song i ever heard by Rush, totally blew me away! The middle section is totally incredible by all three kings, live is an unbelievable experience.

With a gun to my head, La Villa. The first song i listened to off their first 4 albums. Total genius. Cygnus (2) a close second

If you take 2112 as a given i'd give Something for Nothing as second, and for best lyrics after 2112, twilight zone. excellent!

You know you're a rush fan when... You buy pro mark sticks unaware whether they're good or bad but just cause they have Neils signiture on. You buy a mug with rush on, but never drink out of it (perfection) You wear you're rush t shirts so much, you're forced to throw them away cause it faintly says "212" now... You get more butterflies at a rush concert than the three kings themselves You go mental when you see anything related to rush in anyway on a film or tv You know they're the kings when you realise you're second favourite band (Manics) interviewed Rush in Classic Rock becuase they idolise them!
