The Marshall half Stack is gone. I replaced it with a Line 6 Bogner Spider Valve and modded it with the Strymon SVpre. Also have a 1970 Fender Champ, and a Marshall AVT 20. Some old MXr pedels and various different effects

^^^I almost bought a CTM6 pretty much identical to yours. It was going to have the quilted maple, gold hardware, rosewood fretboard with no inlays. The finish was going to be the same, or close. It's been a while since I looked at their website. But I had it all planned out. Then I got cold feet about buying a guitar I had to order and couldn't play before buying. I got a Music Man instead, and haven't regretted it.

What did you replace the pickups with? I was just going to upgrade from their pickups.

Check out www.carvinmuseum.com for some good info. Also I started with a used Carvin off Ebay and it made me want my own new one. I know they'll do what ever it takes to make sure you're happy with a custom built so don't let the never having played it bother you. And one of my covers on youtube (link below) uses the Carvin. trink39.gif

Yes, when you have both A and B on the sustain is great..singing violin like...which I love...but the noise was bit much. The tradition BBs sound a little better that the BB+ but that is really just splitting hairs.

I thought since EJ used the AC I would like it, but im gonna sell it for the new BB with 3 different comp modes probably.

That's cool. Post a pic of it when you get it, and let us know how it sounds. I'm going to take the plunge, I think, and get a Wampler Euphoria Drive. That is supposed to be Brian Wampler's version of a Dumble amp in a box.

And if you want to look it up on YouTube, or any of the websites I've posted, it also goes by the name Ecstasy Drive.

I'm looking at their semi hollow body guitars now., one with a deep red quilted maple top, rosewood, and gold hardware.

That top is very pretty. It shouldn't be hidden by a pickguard. Just my opinion, though. I usually prefer LPs without them.

I agree that it looks nicer without the guard, especially on Bursts....but it bugs me looking at the screw holes when the guard is off, so I'll put it back on. All of the Traditional's now come with the pick guards. Gibson use to put them in the case, as an option.....not anymore.

My latest acquisition!

This is a Crafted in Japan (not to be confused with Made in Japan) TL52-88TX.

This is Fender Japan's take on the Fender 1952 Telecaster Reissue. It has an Ash body, a one-piece maple neck and fret board, 21 frets, V-shaped neck, and two Texas Special pickups.

This guitar was made between 2002-2004, based on the serial number.
