ALifeson85
...will it finally be added to this upcoming tour? Possibly! I think if they DO add it to the set, they should drop Faithless from the set, and put Jacob's Ladder as the last song of the first set...after Subdivisions. Could be cool... Any thoughts? Albone2112
Faithless is the one song I'd like to see dropped, other than maybe Stick It Out, so yeah Jacob's Ladder would kick major gluteus max!!!

metaldad
QUOTE (ALifeson85 @ Dec 3 2010, 01:15 AM) they should drop Faithless from the set, and put Jacob's Ladder Yes. Faithless was the low point for me and not a good live song.

micgtr71
QUOTE (Good, bad, andrush @ Dec 4 2010, 02:28 AM) I loved Faithless live I did too, but given the choice, I would choose to hear Jacob's Ladder. I don't think that I would want to hear it as a set closer, but then again I didn't think Subdivisions would make a good closer and it totally worked. greg2112
I think its very possibly JL gets in the set. Also agree the Faithless slot is the likely place it will go.

ALifeson85
Faithless is a really good tune, but alot like Animate, imo, it didn't really translate too well live.
D3strukt
For me, it had to do with Geddy's hit and miss vocals on Faithless. He sounds amazing on the studio version, but even on the first show, he's completely out of tune. Also, there were few overdubs for his vocals on that song live, which is probably why it didn't sound so good live. He should've just pulled the chorus from the album and trig'd the shit out of it. 1 of the 7
Sure, if they decide not to do Emotion Detector, this one works too, but no dropping Presto or Marathon
