Once PJ gets The Hobbit movies out of the way, can we expect a Silmarillion Tetrology, beginning maybe in the year 2022? tongue.gif

OMG I pray not.... schla03.gif

Agree 100%. I had to stop reading it. Just too full of itself, too redundant, not pleasant at all to read.... confused13.gif

The stories are awesome, but yes, it reads like The Bible. My original post was a joke, and would never happen, but one of the major story arcs could be personalized and be made into a killer movie. But it would never happen.

Is it still being made in 2 installments? It should be able to cover almost everything from the book if it is, including Gandalf's departure.

I've always thought that the book ended rather quickly...all this build up and then, BAM! The dragon's dead. (Spoiler?)

I hope the movie's will stretch out the story a bit in this respect, the opposite of what usually happens from book to film.
