Packers beaten up and all banged up and they didn't seem to want it out there. The Bengals squeeze the Pack down to 1-2. The Pack looking forward to their bye week now like never before!

We got beat by the Bengals?? Not good at all this early!

:(

I think it's a bit too early for a bye week too.

OK, so after three games, the Green & Gold are 1-2, and they're struggling with various injuries to key players as well as a LOT of second-guessing from themselves as well as the press and fans. The bad news is that they are having trouble closing out games. In both losses, they led in the 4th quarter. In their win, they allowed two TD's in the 4th quarter.

To sum up, they need a little work on their 4TH QUARTER PERFORMANCE. If they can get that squared away, then they should be once again a major contender for the Lombardi Trophy.

Rest up, boys. It's gonna be a long 13 weeks....... :o :o

Anyone else think Rodgers might have had a mild concussion after that shot to the ear he took? He was not himself after that....

He seemed fine to me. He was obviously frustrated by the tight coverage, the loss of Finley and Starks, and the questionable play-calling.

They were up 30-21 at the start of the 4th quarter. If they had maintained that lead, no one would be questioning him at all, IMO. The entire team broke down in the 4th quarter, but as always, the QB gets 99% of the criticism (just as he gets 99% of the praise for a comeback win).

The Green Bay Packers' new offensive threat, Mason Crosby (#2), kicked five picture-perfect field goals against the Lions. After spending all of 2012 feeling the rabid hatred of Packer fans for his many misses, Crosby has been so dead-on straight with his kicks that one wonders if he's an imposter.... :AlienSmiley:

The Lions continued their futility in the state of Wisconsin, mostly because they were without their superstud WR, Calvin Johnson. The Detroit defense played the Packers tough, but ultimately yielded to the superior playmakers of the Green & Gold. A healthy dose of Eddie Lacy and more big plays from their WR's gave the Packers a hard-fought division win.

They're 2 and 2 with much work to do! The Ravens are up next!! :o

From the "Ruh Roh, Raggy" Department:

Clay Matthews broke his thumb while sacking Matthew Stafford in the 3rd quarter. They're weighing his medical options, but it looks like he'll be out for a while....

The Packers don't need to sack any QBs they can just win shootouts all the way to the play-offs!

Hope it doesn't affect his shooting schedule. I'd hate to go a week without seeing him in another new commercial.

That shoot with hitchhikers.com might be in jeopardy.

Clay Matthews reported to be out 3-4 weeks after having surgery on the thumb. He will wear a cast when he returns.

They have a decent chance of going 3-1 or even 4-0, as they play the Ravens, Browns, Vikings, and Bears. LB's Nick Perry and Mike Neal will have to carry the load, and they are eager to prove themselves worthy.

They can dooooooooo it....... :) :)

The Packers earned a tough, TOUGH victory over the Ravens, but at great cost. Losing starting WR's James Jones and Randall Cobb to knee injuries, they still fought off the defending Super Bowl champs with some last-minute guts and determination. Overcoming the Ravens' fierce comeback as well as their own boneheaded mistakes, the Packers are limping back home with a 3-2 record. Confident yet worried about their fallen players, the Packers have a lot of adversity coming their way, perhaps for the rest of the season.

See this guy doing a Lambeau Leap? His name is Jarret Boykin, but we shall call him Mr. Next Man Up. Boykin, who was once cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars, stepped right into the Packers' decimated starting lineup and simply KICKED ASS with over 100 yards receiving and a TD. Cleveland put up a good fight at rainy Lambeau Field, but they were simply outgunned.

In a maddening year of many, many injuries to key players, the Green Bay Packers have held true to their "Next Man Up" philosophy. Promoting backups and practice squad players (rather than sign free agents), the Packers are taking hit after hit, yet they are still en route to another NFC North division title. That route has become even harder, though, as starting TE Jermichael Finley, who looked to be having his best year ever, took a major hit and sustained a serious neck injury.

It's a tough, TOUGH sport, boys and girls. It's not for the timid...... :o

It's the Iggles. And they scored 42 points in the first half against the Lions while wearing them (on 9/23/07).
