And I get a headache every time! I feel like I say or at least think "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard on TRF" every other fraroc post. Not to be mean but hair metal is mostly for women who are now in their forties and fifties who liked Poison, Cinderella, Bon Jovi etc back in the day. I really don't think many men like it much apart from maybe one or two bands. I like some bands who come close but over all not a hair metal fan. I'd say that's somewhat accurate, except for the defeatists and winners part. Grunge just came from a different place. The kids in high school who were the " weirdos " liked grunge. The outcasts. The artists and cerebral thinkers. Grunge should have never become so mainstream. Bands like Soundgarden would have just been a cool , underground band if they came out in the 70s, IMO. As much as I love Paradise Lost they do it provide the rush of excitement an album like Nevermind can. You aren't very open minded fraroc. Live a little and stop protecting what doesn't need protection. You can enjoy what you enjoy and respect others disagree or prefer something else.
