For me personally, Myrtle Beach is not a huge deal, given that I'm so close to it. I'm down there 2-3 times a year. It's funny, we travel all the way down there just to go to the beach - and we live 90 minutes from the Jersey shore. But it's so freakin' expensive to stay on the beach in Jersey, and most of the states below it. What it costs to stay a week at these places compares closely to a Disney vacation. So, it's MB for us.
