Stairway "shortened"? I didn't think this was possible. Never heard a Stairway "edit."

What do they cut out??

They usually cut out a few verses. You've never heard it? Do you ever listen to KLOS? They cut out like half the solo of Freebird too when they play it. laugh.gif

i went with Sweet Home Alabama just cuz it got played so much i can only stand to listen to it once a year...if that. Another Brick in the Wall probably gets played more but i love the hell outta that song.

although i would love to listen to the radio station that overplayed Young Lust, Comfortably Numb, or Subdivisions.

Back when listening to the radio was necessary for a non boring work day, there was one song that I loved but had to turn off because it got boring after the 8 millionth time

Whole Lotta Love

really guys....play something else!

So far today I noticed our station played Gimme Three Steps, Hotel California, Stop Dragging my Heart Around, and Cocaine.

If my posts look like I forgot how to spell later today, it's because my brain quit working listening to this.

What's really weird is that I listen to KLOS quite a lot and I have never heard them cut either song. wtf.gif

Right now, the most overplayed song is probably that new Kid Rock song which samples "Sweet Home Alabama." 062802puke_prv.gif

Most overplayed classic rock song? Maybe "Taking Care of Business" by BTO or "China Grove" by the Doobies or the aforementioned "Sweet Home Alabama." 062802puke_prv.gif Or maybe "Slow Ride" by Foghat or "Low Rider" by War, or...

Maggie May, Gypsy (Fleetwood Mac), It's Only Rock'N'Roll in this last 1/2 hr. Gosh.

It's like the station went out and bought those discs that have the Top Ten Hits from each year. That's all that gets played.

Rochester's most played song isnt even on that list.

The most played song here seems to be 'Hotel California' by the Eagles.

doh.gif How'd I miss that one?

Remove Rush, insert AC/DC Shook Me All Night Long And this represents Cleveland WNCX* playlist.

So I'd say .. all of them!

* Rush was elected to there " Rock Hall of Fame" #25. Voted by listeners.* (Of course I voted) But NCX hardly ever plays Rush. bolt.gif
