i went with Sweet Home Alabama just cuz it got played so much i can only stand to listen to it once a year...if that. Another Brick in the Wall probably gets played more but i love the hell outta that song.

 

 

although i would love to listen to the radio station that overplayed Young Lust, Comfortably Numb, or Subdivisions.

Right now, the most overplayed song is probably that new Kid Rock song which samples "Sweet Home Alabama."

 

Most overplayed classic rock song? Maybe "Taking Care of Business" by BTO or "China Grove" by the Doobies or the aforementioned "Sweet Home Alabama." Or maybe "Slow Ride" by Foghat or "Low Rider" by War, or...

It's like the station went out and bought those discs that have the Top Ten Hits from each year. That's all that gets played.
