^^^ They are delicious davey! I only have 2 left...at $20 a 4-pack I drink them sparingly. My beer fridge is filled with some really good beers right now including 5 of the prized Dogfish Head 120 minute IPAs. I definitely can't afford to drink these very often. The place I've been getting them from has a 6 beer limit per person on the 120s but a 6 pack will set you back $50! ohmy.gif They are incredible tasting though. trink39.gif

That's fantastic stuff, daveyt -- excellent choice!

I keep bouncing back and forth between it, Maudite, and Fin Du Monde; they're all so good I don't think I could pick a favorite between them if I tried.

Cheers! trink39.gif

My beer guy finally got these in. He's had some Stone stuff for a while now, but not these. I've never had it before tonight, but it was worth the wait. Easily one of my top three fave pale ales now.

I think that is new for Stone, I'd never seen it before until just recently. It's the same price as the IPA and I like the IPA so much that I haven't tried the Pale Ale yet. But since you say it's good I'll have to try it.

I think it's outstanding. They've had it for years, just couldn't find it anywhere. They've brewed it since at least 2003. When I was in CA with you guys I couldn't find it out there either, which was weird since it's brewed there.

Cultas Lake Pilsner from the Old Yale Brewing Co.

Not bad. It certainly has more flavour than the macro pilsners but it's not so great that I'd look for it again.

I don't taste chocolate...more like caramel to me. Either way, it's gooood. trink38.gif

GG, if you're intrigued by chocolate and beer, you need to sample this:

I have a bottle in my fridge as we speak. Maybe I'll save it for the PNC show. wink.gif

BevMo just started carrying it within the past few months, so I figured it was new (since BevMo generally has everything...) I check the Stone section every time I'm in there. Next time I'll pick some up!

Sam Adams Summer Ale after this hot, sunny day.

The previous posts about chocolatey type ales made me think that if you like that sort of thing you owe it to yourself to try out the Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout...that one has great flavor & packs a punch! Good stuff.
