The touching moment came when Alex and the lady made eye contact, Alex saluted her and smiled, which of course made her cry. The picture stayed on stage for the rest of the night I went to the website and found out that the young soldier had died of leukemia... That was an incredibly sweet thing for Alex to do.... I kept looking to see what the heck was up there.....I wasn't sure of the circumstances though.... I also went to the site and found out what it was all about... the masked drummer Posted April 26, 2005 Share Posted April 26, 2005 Nice to hear someone give Alex a compliment like that after all the rotten criticism I've heard over the years as a drummer in several local rock bands. I totally agree that he is very unique, awesome, and I lose all resect when I hear inexperienced/uncultured/clueless guitarists claim Lerxst has contributed nothing to the guitar world. I've heard countless fools say "he sucks". Sad. I guess that says a lot about the Detroit area local rock scene, the crappiest musical city on the globe. WOW I've never heard any critism about Alex's playing, only people's 2 cents when he had that problem in Florida.... to which I just ignored.
