  1. QUOTE (Trace @ Jun 1 2006, 09:39 AM) I would kill to meet him. Anyone got any stories? Pray tell!! For a LONG ago story... My husband met them back in '77.... They were sitting in the dressing room smoking Illegal Herbal Substance that my hubby's friend had brought....all was very quiet, as everyone hallucinated his own thoughts, when Alex said... "Baaaaaaaa!" Like sheep in a field, smoking the grass rather than eating it, I guess.....
  2. QUOTE (subdivision40 @ May 25 2006, 04:54 PM) Speaking of being foxy..........how about this, girls! http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i114/rushimages/80pic9.jpg I just love these photos of him in the studio during Permanent Waves. Oh....wow.... Thanks.....

You're absolutely right! Oh, but it would be so worth it..... Forget Alex. Think, "The Cemetery." That is all. Sorry, sweetie...I've had a serious thing for Alex since I was about 13.... No way I can forget him.... No way I'd want to!!! However, the cemetery sounds fun, too (Don't ask us to explain the cemetery...it's a bit convoluted...)

  5. QUOTE (subdivision40 @ May 13 2006, 03:22 PM) OK girls. Do you prefer our beloved Big Al with or without facial hair? My responses to that would be way, way too naughty for this board......
  6. QUOTE (rushgoober @ May 9 2006, 05:21 PM) QUOTE (Sweetmiracle @ May 9 2006, 02:19 PM) And, personally, RG....I worship Alex..... Yeah, but that didn't rhyme! Very true.... how about "we worship the Three"
  7. Yes, we have birthday threads on CP.... and sometimes they're even on the right day!! I also have dual citizenship, but I only have time to write my usual epic missives about philosophy and politics on one board, so I just visit here and RT... And, personally, RG....I worship Alex..... but I respect your right to honor Geddy, and I will defend that right to the death of my keyboard!!!
  8. From the new issue of Guitar Player magazine.... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v349/sweetmiracle/AlexGP2006.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v349/sweetmiracle/AlexGP20062.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v349/sweetmiracle/AlexGP20063.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v349/sweetmiracle/AlexGP20064.jpg
  9. oh gee, ken again, i didint realize that this was New World "Women" Join my boards anyways. Please dont put anything on my moms record. My Boards? EDITBYKEN: Also, the truss rod goes inside of the neck.
  10. "the truss rod is a simple device that basically has one purpose: to counter the pull of the strings...." from some guitar website.... Ken is the coolest son anyone could ever have, check his boards out if i give a link. And i ken. BTW, this was all wrote by ken. Lol, noob, lol. JOIN MY BOARD MY BOARD, JOIN IT? Though it has barely any rush.... its a fun board though!!! Oh and if this post gets edited other than at 8:42, then its Her. or before
  11. My son Ken says that he's soldering his truss rod, which is a support in the neck.... Which gives us opportunity to make a lot of passing comments abot rods and support we'd like to give...
  12. Wow...thanks, Slaine..... This is going to have to be one fast-paced movie, though...

I like the way you think It's probably a soldering iron... I recognize all the tools in his box from my son's collection. Has anyone posted this one yet? I've got quite a few, and sometimes I forget.... But who cares? It's always nice to see again... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v349/sweetmiracle/Alex_3.jpg
