Apparently, it's a wrap after Season 5:

The magazine article I read said the show wasn't meant to last long but it didn't state it would end after season 5 sad.gif. I'll enjoy it while I can! trink39.gif

Last night was great. Walt is just so over his head when dealing with Gus. His foibles and failures were all pitch perfect.

Oh yeah. Who made the call, though?

Sounded like Gus's man Mike.

So I'm not sure I caught this part correctly. Did Mike say to Gus something like "You got what you wanted..the kid is a hero"?

Why did he want Jesse to get out of that situation?

Probably a couple things: 1. Snap out of his "I don't give a shit" funk by making him do something. Seems to have worked in renewing his sense of vigor. 2. Prove his loyalty. He's not only been in a funk (and been sloppy with the Gale thing), but he's also been stealing.

We can debate over which was more important, but I think it was an exercise to whip him into shape.
