My cousin from Arizona who I haven't seen since my wedding 12 years ago picked up one of my Toronto cousin's guitar and played 'I Think I'm Going Bald'. He knows I'm a Rush fan because at the wedding, my best man and I played 'Return Of The Prince' as a part of a medley (along with Blue Sky and Sunshine Daydream). Anyway, it was very cool. We had a big Rush discussion tonight. So, I'm up for anything. My preference would be to meet at the grocery store parking lot and then caravan into the venue. I am so ready to rock. We're on vacation this week and we planed it around the concert, as usual. It's gonna be the Grand Finale to end the vacation week with. Saw them on vacation last year, same place, but didn't have the chance to meet up with anyone before the show. Can't guarantee it, but gonna try to see if we can get there early enough to do some tailgating in the lot with you guys for a bit. Maybe GhostGirl will surprise us and be there this year? As you folks can see, that's the first left after you exit the highway, and it's also right on the way to the venue. Meet-up at 4! The grocery store is a decent all-around pit-stop for those of you who are travelling far. Weather supposed to be really hot and steamy. (hint: this might not be a good day for Guiness Stout.) Last I heard, you are allowed to bring one unopened bottle of water into the venue. It would be helpful if somebody has a card table for us to put plates, napkins, etc. I have two small charcoal grills and one medium-sized gas grill. We may need more depending on how many people meet up. Also, bring disposable colored plastic cups. You will most likely not be hassled for drinking out of those, but if you have a can or bottle, it could be trouble (depending on how big an ass the cop is.) Someone is sure to forget, so bring extras. Stay tuuned for more updates. I'll be posting a link for Ruby Tuesday's shortly if anyone is interested in hooking up w/ the folks from the rushtourforum. Also i'm taking my dad who hasn't see them since the 80's. Also my younger brother is seeing for the 2nd time. What a day to spend a saturday with father and brother with Rush.
