82 degrees in January

As nice as the weather is, what happened to January being a cold month???? I was fishing from a kayak in shorts and a t-shirt, of course getting a little wet today. High got up to 82 here in south TX, and I heard it was 89 out in Eagle Pass (west TX). I really enjoy the cold weather- for some reason it just puts me in a great mood.

Maybe I should move up North, maybe the Great White North? yes.gif

It's a beauty way to go!

I like all the snow we have here right now, but 82 sounds very nice as well.

Better be careful talking about warm temperatures in January...this could get tagged as a Global Warming thread, and sent to the Sense O'Clock News forum.

Yeah, and become yet another ES21122-bashing thread. laugh.gif

Right now here in London Ontario it's 48C...yesterday it was 55C...All our snow is gone.

They're forecasting a thunderstorm for here tonight wacko.gif

I think you mean Fahrenheit. :c]

Been the same way up here in Ottawa! Almost 50F right now been like this the past couple of days. The FOG and THUNDERSTORMS last night were quite extraordinary. Massive amounts of rain have probably got rid of over half our snow - and we had LOTS.

Good riddance white stuff - I just hope this doesn't have an adverse affect on farming and that type of stuff where they may rely on the spring precipitation from melting snow.
