I think it's about 2 hours outside of the city at the very tip of Long Island. 1001 might know best how far out it is. That could be really awesome! It's not quite at the tip of the south fork, but it's about two hours outside NYC. VERY nice out there. Try and schedule this trip before Memorial Day. After then, traffic going east to that part of the island is unbearable. You're pretty handy to have around, you know that?

JohnnyBlaze
If I may be so bold..... I think you ladies or anyone else for that matter should think of taking a Caribbean cruise (at least in the not-too-distant-future). Think about it: multiple countries, gorgeous ship, dancing, sun, beaches, shopping, etc. The options are unlimited. A Caribbean cruise is relatively cheap considering what you get (do the research if you don't believe me), not too hard to pull off with those in North America, and no possible fears of language barriers/culture shock. Just realized I sound like a travel agent. But so be it. Many many Rush fiends on a cruise ship sounds sweet does it not?
