Frankie7 Posted May 14, 2007 Share Posted May 14, 2007 I'm afraid we can't smoke inside any public places anymore in Canada, the law came in effect last year, in May actually, so I'd be really surprised if there'd be people lighting up a few doobies, but you never know. I'm not bringing anything, that's for sure, and if someone offers me some, I'll have to say no - I can't smoke when I wear my contact lenses. If you go back and listen to it you will listen to him repeatedly say he smells a skunk and thats because we had a skunky joint lit up and it was blowing right on him, he kept saying "I SMELL A SKUNK"!!! A SKUNK!!!! It's just kind of neat to me that I had something to do with one of his rants. I've told this story before and I'm sure most of ya'll heard it before but oh well. I was sitting in the 3rd row center at the time and probably shouldn't have risked getting kicked out and losing my great seat once I look back on it but now I think it's cool that he made a rant because of me since I didn't get caught. Were all adults, I think we should do what we want at concerts, we know the consequences of our actions. To smoke or not to smoke, that's up to you, what a great country/world we live in. Don't ever make up your mind based on one study. Scientific claims are never "proven", but if there is any veracity to them, they are continually supported by consistent results through various different types of studies over the course of decades, which has been done with marijuana and psychosis already. Never been paranoid. Never seen anyone who was due to smoking. Zero problems. Drinking on the other hand...definitely. Again I ask...why is alcohol legal but pot isn't? I don't care to debate...All I know is it should be a personal choice and responsiblity just like drinking. Obesity is a major problem but we don't make junk food illegal. What is the difference?
