I've been away for a few days and just saw this now. Man, this sucks. I saw them perform on their Third Stage tour back in 1987. It was a very fun show, I remember. As was mentioned before, their debut album is a timeless classic. RIP, Brad.

I was devastated to hear this last week and even more so to hear on the radio that it was a suicide today just moments after it was released to the AP.

Whenever I've been depressed or lonely I've always popped in Boston's self-titled album. It's helped me get through some rough times. It's just so hard to feel down when you listen to his vocals. I'll sure as hell miss him.

What an incredible downer. sad.gif

I'm lucky to have finally gotten to see Boston with Delp a few years ago when last they came through Dallas. Delp's performance was absolutely stellar and is in the top five I've ever seen, a feat made more impressive by the fact that he was 50+ at the time. I was looking forward to seeing them again. Alas, the brightest stars seem to burn out the quickest.

Rest well our golden voiced prince. rose.gif
