I discovered this progressive post-rock band last week, and they are impressive! Mostly instrumental (odd song or two), this is powerful, beautiful, ethereal and majestic. I love them!

This was a slow grower, but now nearly five years have passed, I hear only brilliance. 

 

Learning that, like Rush, Nightwish challenge their fans but only write great music. This album is terrific!

Yeah it's another great Priest classic. I think it just got a negative reputation and people just jump on the hate bandwagon without really listening to it, like with Turbo and Ram it Down.

I'm not the biggest fan of Turbo or Ram It Down but I am always pleasantly surprised by them when I play them.
