Well I’ve yet to listen to her album, but I love her style and Good Luck Babe is a great song.

Segue neither? You two are unpredictable, lol. She’s absolutely beloved by the music scene folks in my city.

I love Chappell. I’ve been listening to her a lot

Chappell Roan - The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess

Wow! This thing is just bursting at the seams! So much color to take in, and a lot to blush at but the emotions underneath are real too. Makes me want to step up my songwriting!

Mick you like Olivia and you’re not into this?

Billie Eilish - Hit Me Hard And Soft

A few of the songs do hit hard, really hard. And a few of them do hit soft, mostly around the like 3/4 mark. I think it's a solid piece of work, but not perfect, which of course it doesn't need to be. I'll still take HTE over it by a healthy margin, but this is a welcome addition.

Still my fave album of the 2010s

Worked from home today so whatever vinyl came out of the box's got listened to.  First out:

The Sound of Wagner

This is a 1 album LPwith some of Wagner best work on it (such as Siegfried's Funeral Music, The Ride of the Valkyries + parts of Die Meistersinger & Lohengrin).  Good stuff.  Next album:

Marian Anderson - Sons at Eventide

A collection of work by Marian Anderson.  Ok but nothing I was wild about.  Next out of the box:

2001: A Space Odyssey - The soundtrack to the movie.

This includes The Blue Danube & The Rick Flair Entrance music.  Ok - that not what it really is titled but that is how it will go down in history (IMO).  Good stuff.  Next out of the box:

John Philip Sousa - Stars & Stripes Forever

Dad always liked this.  Not because its nationalistic (not at all - that would turn him off) but rather because he enjoys a good marching song now and then.  For the same reason I find it enjoyable.  Last out of the box for the day:

Rush - ESL

My least favorite Rush live album.  Hands down my least favorite compared to ATWAS, Rush in Rio, ASOH, Different Stages & S & A Live.  Somehow it just does not catch my fancy.

Wet Leg - Wet Leg

Looking at this now, this record was a bit ahead of the curve in terms of like funny female indie music which is really big right now.
