They never played Veronica? Dear goodness that’s one of their best songs in over a decade. What a shame!

Totally agree

Chicago-X

I know this album was commercially pretty successful.  However for me this album is the first one that signals to me......oh.......this band is passing it's prime.

good but not great.

Death Cab For Cutie - Plans

I haven’t heard this album in years. While I Will Follow You Into The Dark is the song most people remember, Soul Meets Body is genuinely one of my favorite songs from this era in general

I think it’s my favorite DCFC album. Trying to go see them at HFStival in DC next month. Seeing Soul Meets Body on a livestream of a festival in 2015 (which I was watching because Muse were going to be on) is what turned me on to them, though my dad actually played IWFYITD around the house a lot growing up and I never knew who it was by.

My fave is Transatlanticism, but like the band Copeland (you will love them) I find Death Cab painfully underrated.

Oh I still need to check them out, this is like the 3rd time you’ve told me about them, lol.

They are like a blend of Clarity era Jimmy and DCFC.

Beneath Medicine Tree...if all else fails try the song Coffee.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - By The Way

I put this on because I heard a scrap of a guitar part in the distance that sounded like a Chili Peppers lick, but I couldn’t quite place it. I figured it sounded like it was on this album, turned out to be the guitar solo from The Zephyr Song. How cool that just that 8 bars of music is easily identifiable as them, and as this era of them in particular, even out of context and far away.

Jimmy Eat World - Clarity

On vinyl, writing lyrics while I listen. For me, this is Heaven.
