Red Hot Chili Peppers - Unlimited Love.png

Return of the Dream Canteen.webp

2 x 18 track CDs back to back. Not many bands release 36 songs in less than a year.

Still getting my head around some of the songs.

They played If This Is Goodbye when I saw them in July. The crowd seemed to enjoy it.

i like to think it's cause they fired ol' Bill Champlin, lol  he was responsible for some of the biggest clunkers in Chicago.  He just did not fit in the group IMO and he was in for 30+ god damn years.  now he's gone they release an album that IMO has some of the Chicago swagger back.

i realy enjoy this record.

That's interesting, I've only got it 3rd in Queensryche albums.

No the first two are just better.

Ooh I got it right!

Yeah, I have to say I love these two albums a lot. Totally get why you could favour them. Do you enjoy them a lot, or just the early stuff? I really only rate their discography up to Promised Land.

I'm the same, after Promised Land it all goes to hell. I don't know what happened. I don't like the new post-Tate version either, it just sounds like bland cookie-cutter rock. Almost like Nickelback, you could call them Queensback or Nickelryche.

Nickelryche is certainly one of the worst band names I've ever heard.

What happened was Chris DeGarmo quit the band. He was the main creative force and the person who held everything together. They had no direction once he left.

Chicago-V (10/10)

I'm obsessed all ober again.

some people don't get Chicago........but hell i'm so glad i do!!!!

I enjoy the new album a bunch but you can't beat the Kath version of Chicago. or at least the first 7 studio albums.

Cetera is a treat on bass too.
