If you eat a tonne of broccoli and blueberries like Ringo does (see health benefits here), he attributes that as the secret to his longevity. He'll be celebrating his 80th birthday today as well. My uncle played and coached lacrosse up until his early 70's, so that kept him in shape for many years.
