Lorraine
Tourist GO HOME !I remember when I lived down the shore in Silverton which is near Seaside Heights. I hated the traffic in the summer due to vacationers. I loved when they all left after Labor Day. I got the beach and the boardwalk all back to myself. :)

Lorraine
My summer season happy place. John Rogers, give it my regards. I'd love to smell that salt air and hear those seagulls and feel sand under my feet. The seafood out here stinks too. Nothing like Jersey Blue crabs and scallops and shrimp and flounder. Fordgalaxy
Everybody remember to punch a union member today if they have the day off? Come on LABT, you can do it.... The unions have also taken over May Day, with it's roots in Socialism, so I will not knowingly hug any of those lazy, do the bare minimum to stay employed, jerks. Yet you are happy to take the wages and benefits they earned for you. That's okay. It's Labor Day for the hypocritical, freeloading scumbags of the world as well. And you are happy to pay the increased costs of the stuff they make. They're directed connected.

My company still makes billions in profit, so they're happy. 18% growth over this time last year means customers are happy too. Looks like you're the only miserable one. But we knew that before... Fordgalaxy
Before when? I'm far from miserable. Very little gets me riled up and even then, it doesn't last long. No use in fretting over things you can't change.

I worked my ASS off at a factory that made car assemblies. Dash boards, [instrument panels] and other plastic assemblies, Headlight and lail light opticals...it was a plastics plant. Chrome plating, etc. There ARE people who were losers who didn't want to work, but in MY plant, they weren't there very long. If all the union people YOU know are losers like that, You'll see they won't work too long before they are FIRED.
Principled Man
Every Labor Day weekend, Cincinnati's long-time classic rock radio station, WEBN, sponsors a massive fireworks display. The Show is accompanied by a unique musical soundtrack, which features the best rock tunes and classical pieces. Around 500,000 people go down to the riverfront - half on the Ohio side, half on the Kentucky side. A MASSIVE Grand Finale is worth the wait and the crush of so many people!! Nova Carmina
Unions:the people who brought you the weekend! I used to work in Estes Park, CO, and after Labor Day that place is a ghost town! Never mind no tourists, half the store owners up and went back to Texas . . .
