HemiBeers
Jimi HendrixKeith EmersonLes ClaypoolBill Bruford It would be weird AF. If Jimi wants to sing that's ok, otherwise there's enough weird shit to keep it entertaining. Jimi and Keith would want to kill each other, but Les would provide comedy relief. I imagine that would sound like a tornado catching fire and spawning new ones. When ELP first formed, rumor was Jimi was going to join them. I guess they could have been HELP. Somehow with the heavy classical influence in ELP, I don't think having Hendrix would have worked well.
Mosher
Obviously hundreds of great possibilities, but I'll play anyway. Here's one, a group I think could co-exist had they started together when young, and I believe all capable of complementing each other rather than distracting from each other. I realize that Geddy, Stevie, and Jimi all sang, but Eric is my my favorite male vocalist so he's on the team. Vocals: Eric BurdonGuitar: Jimi HendrixGuitar: Stevie Ray Vaughan Bass: Geddy LeeDrums: Stewart CopelandEverything else: John Entwistle And I'll make a team featuring women that can easily vie for that headlining spot on the tour. No need for a select vocalist. Again, trying for a group that can work together rather than fail to form cohesion. Guitar: Donita SparksGuitar: Courtney BarnettBass: Kim GordonDrums: Stephanie LukeEverything Else: P.J. Harvey Elton can play keys for the former, and we'll put Amanda Palmer with the latter. The first band is more of a musicians band, the second more about the angsty energy of rock and roll. Two different feels, but I'd love them both. And of course there are a lot of better musicians that might not jell in the group, or better complements to the group that I simply forgot. JohnnyBlaze
Following the op’s inquiry and not choosing any Rush members... You guys know what instruments these guys play/played: - John Entwistle - Danny Carey- Jimi Hendrix - Corey Glover Glover would do most of the lead vocals but I’d certainly have plenty of Hendrix lead vocals in there too.

ClashWho
If you could choose four musicians from four different bands, from any era, to create the ultimate rock band, who would you choose? You can't pick more than one person from the same band. Vocals - Sam CookeGuitars - Pete TownshendDrums - Buddy RichBass - Charles Mingus
