Segue Myles
Rolling In The Deep could work amazingly in the right hands as a rock or metal power ballad. Powerful tune, especially the chorus. She is an incredible songwriter.

Entre_Perpetuo
Going metal might be the thing to make her interesting. Great voice, boring songs. I like many of her songs, but if she went metal every music publication would be scrambling for the story and trying in vain to predict popular opinion while metal heads would raise eyebrows all around and Adele fans would be horrified. It would be the most apocalyptic thing since Revelation. In other words it would be the best thing to happen to music since One Direction broke up. There are a few artists whose music I refuse to listen to on principle, whether or not I may actually enjoy some of it. One Direction is one of them. I don't think my life is going to seriously suffer for refusing to listen to the like three artists I was referring to. No one's ever begged to differ to me.
stoopid
True story - I recently tried to listen to some of the best selling songs from the past few years. I promptly learned to not do that again. Schlock is surprisingly still schlock.

Worse now than it has ever been before.
Fridge
Adele...amazing voice but find it wasted on the blandness and banality of most of her songs...she's clearly very talented, but does nothing for me whatsoever.

I actually like a few singles. But there is no variation or playfulness to be found on her full lengths.

That's how I feel as well, they picked the best couple for singles and the rest of the album (21 at least) was filler IMO. That's the only album I own of hers.
