  2. 2. How would you grade Kurt as an actor?

    • A+ : One of the best of the best
    • A : a living legend
    • A- : he's way up there in the stratosphere of actors
    • B+ : a very good actor who's capable of any genre
    • B : a pretty reliable watch
    • B- : he's had some duds but he's slightly above average
    • C+ : not bad, there are many who are better though
    • C : centerfield, I'm pretty neutral when it comes to Kurt
    • C- : nothing special though not annoying either
      0
    • D+ : generally not good, I can skip his films
      0
    • D : not good, he bothers me at times
      0
    • D- : very bad, not THE worst but he's in that ballpark
      0
    • F : Awful! I don't care what blueschica thinks! He's crap!
      0
    • I still haven't seen a Kurt film and since blueschica already gutted me there's nothing left for me to do other than wallow in my own blood and Kurt Russell ignorance.

I saw ACCEPT in Pasadena dude on Sept 30th. I had front row and I scored a Wolf pick and a Peter pick!! Amazing show.

But was even more incredible is the fact that I went to see the Michael Myers house on 1000 Mission Street in Old Pasadena!

I walked the streets where John filmed "Halloween" and "Halloween 2."

Amazing time.

Seeing John Carpenter three times in November. Can't wait!

By the way. Typing about John Carpenter on a Kurt Russell Poll is totally legal and is not considered hijacking.

I am sure many anal retentive Rush Members hate that shit.

I love hijacking threads and speaking my mind at that moment.

However this time I am in the legal zone of proper threading etiquette. LOL! Fuckk that.

Listening to some MSG right now!

Wow JB! You love to criticize me for CAPS ON!

You totally left out "ESCAPE FROM LA!" CAPS ON!

I don't remember criticizing you for using caps. But anyway...

I left it out on purpose! That movie was total garbage!

And I blame you for me watching it...I only saw it because you recommended it in Video Vertigo! :hail:

CAPS ON :

ESCAPE FROM L.A. IS THE WORST KURT RUSSELL MOVIE I'VE SEEN AND THAT'S INCLUDING SKY HIGH!!!!

I give Escape from L.A. a solid F! In fact, that movie inspired the thread I made a few months ago on worst sequels ever.

I spit and piss in the direction of John Carpenter whenever that movie title is mentioned!

:blaze:

:P

HA!

You didn't criticize me JB. You were being funny and cheeky about it.

Remember?

You wrote

This is rushhead typing to me.

HEY JB WANT TO GET SOME BEERS?

JB responds: sure Earl no problem. Let's get some beers soon.

EARL: KiLLER JOHNNY!! LET'S PARTY AND HAVE SOME FUN!!! ACCEPT RULES! FUCKK YES!!

Remember?

NOW I do!!!

It was slightly different but yeah!!!

I'm not even sure I know an Accept song

Apparently there's a "re-imagining" of the film in which the two main character's roles are reversed. It's in the works now and will be released next spring.

I haven't seen the Kurt & Goldie original.

Good, because I saw it on hbo a few years ago and it was terrible. The effects look SyFy Channel like in quality and that basketball court scene was just stupid. Buscemi was a bright spot though.

Saw Captain Ron on Showtime a few years ago and that was hilarious.

My cousin was one of the camera operators on Escape From New York. That’s about all I know about it. I’ve never seen it. I haven’t seen most of these movies though I did like him in Tombstone and Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

Depp and Burton make me sick now. Yes.

So....

Halloween

Halloween III

The Nightmare Before Christmas

The Shining

The Thing

My top five movies.

I am excited about the new "Halloween" movie in 2018, yet worried.

Oxymoronic.

Yes "Escape From LA" is horrible. But that cheese still lives inside me.

I've seen ever John Carpenter movie in the theater since I saw "Escape From New York."

I remember seeing "The Thing" in the theater and then sneaking into "Halloween III" for free. Yep! A teenager. Both films freaked me out. Scared the shit out of me.

I am sure if many of you watch "Halloween III" now you will hate it or think it's a YY"Z" movie. Shite.

But man, when I was young and saw it on the big screen I couldn't sleep for a week.

We are all different in your perceptions of things.

Many of you love "Vapor Trails." I hate it.

Life goes on.

Absolutely! Hologram, I mean Hollywood SUCKS!

Even Carpenter is doing "Halloween" 30 years later after "Halloween II" which the man never eve wanted to write or direct. UGH!
