Thirty-six years ago, my oh my. I remember when it was new...seems like it's been about ten.

Timeless rock and roll, truly!

I remember being so excited waiting for this album to come out. Putting it on the turntable for the first time and hearing that opening to Tom Sawyer is still unforgettable.

Same here...few friends and I walked to Rock a Rolla records and each bought a copy. We went back to my house and listened to it over and over in the basement while getting, um, getting, well, you know...hmm, into the groove! :smoke:

Bought it on a Saturday morning and spent all day at a friend's playing it over and over and over all day long. Even as big a fan as I was I found it hard to believe they had made an album this great. I actually felt pride.

The first thing I remember thinking was the HEAVY sound of the drums and bass... (Thanks Terry!) And, then, the songs were ALL so good! My favourite song then was The Camera Eye. LOVED the drums on that one.

Classic. Still remember buying this on release day. I was 17 and had been working at my first job for a month. Walked into the record store, there it was on the new release wall $12.99 (New Zealand). Went home and that night... wow what a great memory, those opening moments of Tom Sawyer right through to Vital Signs, what a journey. 36 years ago... no way, seems like half that time...

I know I have pictures somewhere .. Sneaking a camera into a show in those days was very difficult

It is awesome that we were both at that show !
