  1. I have a Keurig coffee machine and I buy regular coffee as well as artificially flavored. I buy the K-Cups and my favorite flavors are Cinnabon, Vanilla Crème Puff Donut Shop, and Vanilla Biscotti. When it comes to creamer, the Italian goes REALLY well with the Cinnabon. I also like to buy coffee from Starbucks, especially since I love the mocha with raspberry syrup in it.
  2. The Beatles will always be my favorite band, but Rush is definitely in the Top 5 at #4 (the others: #2, The Rolling Stones, #3- Foo Fighters and #5- Queen). My Dad was a big Rush fan when I was growing up, and I kind of inherited that from him. Their lyrics reflected the moments I've been going through personally in my life, and I never got over trying to duplicate Neil's drumming.
  3. I wouldn't rank it as a masterpiece, but RtB has grown on me as a Top 5 album at #5. I seem to get somewhat attached to certain albums/songs even though they are not the best ones, but Roll The Bones speaks to me. Heresy is an underrated track IMO, with it's theme of learning to forget the past and embrace the future. I also like "Face Up" which is a great rocker on the level of Superconductor, and "Dreamline" is a great opener.
  4. I rank them in this order: Clockwork Angels, Snakes and Arrows, Test For Echo, Counterparts, Presto, Roll the Bones, and Vapor Trails.
  5. That's a great song! One of my favorites George did when he was with The Beatles.
  6. Signals wins my vote as my favorite Rush album. It was the first one I really grew to like, especially that complicated drumming in "Subdivisions" made me want to attempt it myself. That whole album is actually good, and one of my personal favorite tracks is "Losing It."

  8. My story of my first Rush collection goes way back to I think, 1999. My Dad exposed me to Power Windows and Moving Pictures during that time, and I loved those two. I then heard his "Show of Hands" cassette, and so when the Rush Remasters collection was coming around at that time, I bought "Signals" because it had Subdivisions which I really liked. He had done a fantastic job of explaining that song to me and it's lyrical meaning about peer pressure. And it was because of his explanations is why I grew to like Rush to this day.
  9. I voted Permanent Waves of the two. Hemispheres kind of came up short, especially after those two amazing epic tracks, whereas the stand-alone tracks "The Trees" and "Circumstances" felt kind of empty.
  10. Star Wars- Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void. Probably not the best Star Wars book written.
  11. Cygnus X1: Book II; 2.) La Villa Strangiato; 3.)Circumstances; 4.) The Trees (that one was WAAAYYY overplayed)
  12. Rubber Soul gets my vote. "Drive My Car" is one of my favorite tracks as well as "Nowhere Man." It was the first album that felt whole.
  13. Wasting Light was the album that got me INTO the Foo Fighters. I listened to that album nonstop to the point where it became an album that defined me.

  15. That's a real shame considering I am fan of their music as well.
  16. As much as I love Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters, Snakes and Arrows wins my vote IMO. Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace is probably one of the Foo Fighters' weakest albums.
  17. Well, I don't have a rank for all 19 albums, but I will rank the first Three: #1- Signals; #2- Clockwork Angels; and #3- Snakes and Arrows.
  18. That movie was a full on BORE-fest for me. Even Affleck I felt couldn't save Batman as well as this movie.
  19. I think after the failure of the 5th one that came out, it's safe to say "Ice Age" is officially extinct.
  20. I would say a lot of people would have not gotten their lyrics, as they were STILL too puzzling for most mainstream audiences. And even though they condensed their lengths to 5 minutes minimum, most #1 hits were either 3-4 minutes long, or 4 1/2 tops (New World Man has been the ONLY Rush song to make it to #21 on the US Billboard Top 100)
  21. Some of that movie is dated but I recently viewed it a few years back...it still holds up pretty well IMO.
  22. That scene where they revealed the reason WHY he became lonely was something I didn't expect.
